i am thinking of having an sbi credit card as i have transactions only in sbi. suggestions please?

I would strongly recommend against such a step. The service given by SBI Cards is atrocious. They never send statements in time, your cheques are credited way too late and even online payments have been known to go astray. It is actually a Card from GE Caps, they only use the SBI brand name. If you must have A Credit card, it is better to take one from ICICI or Citibank. Now you can use SBI's online banking to pay ICICI Card also. So you don't need to take an SBI Card because you are banking with SBI, believe me that Card is the WORST. Personally, I am a great admirer of SBI, but I do believe that SBI Cards will in the long run erode SBI's goodwill in the market. Don't take that card, don't even apply for one. My advice is, keep banking with SBI, but stay clear of SBI Cards.
