You are reading this obviously due to issues with your Credit Report and you would like the ways a means to clean up these items on your credit report so you can have a clean path to then grow your credit to a Better Credit Score.

What I want to cover is what to avoid when cleaning up your credit.

First off, there are a lot of  ‘strategies' out there, such as using a new social security number and building new credit.  Not very wise and also not very legal and really not very safe.

Some methods vary, such as improper disputing of legitimate items on your report.

Do not avoid legitimate debts.  You were given credit in the beinning for a reason:  Debtors trusted your word and your character.  That is what credit is about.

If this process is challenged in some way, you'll then loose credit worthiness.  Hence a lower score.

Do not be looking for quick fixes that some ‘Credit Repair' companies offer.

A lot of them have been trouble for their methods and are at risk of legal action against them and further, they may very well be in legal trouble.

If you are going to look for credit repair companies, such as the services offeredonline then you'll want to pick and choose carefully, and read reviews about them and check with the Government agencies that regulate Credit Repair Service Companies.  There are a number of good ones, just a matter of picking the one that fits your needs.

Don't go in blindly with any service provider regarding your credit report.

There are a few ways to do things wrong when cleaning up Your Credit Score or trying the ‘Do It Yourself Credit Repair' process.  However, the best way to do things is the right way: Settle your debts.  If you can't pay full, make partial payments.  If the amount can be subject to dispute, do so.  If can only pay half, offer half.  If you need 3 payments over 6 months, tell your creditor this and send them a letter and a check with the first payment.

Remember why you were given credit to being with, you earned it.

what is the best way to get rid of some freeloaders out of your home?

I was away for a year and they were there causing trouble for me as they think I shouldnt be there as I try to keep the place clean and they dont like it.
My husband is scared to tell them to go and they are his friend and business partner for his business that he runs from one of our sheds in the back yard. This weekend there was a fight between myself and them as they keep useing my things, they said that my husband doesnt want me there and what my husband said to me when we made up a list of house rules, was if they find it a problem to go along with, then they would find their own place.

Dude, cut your loses. How can two walk together unless they agree? This situation is not working out period. Even the business partnership is heading for disaster...face it. Soon your partnership with your husband will be headed for exist too if you let these people take advantage of your generosity. Give them a ultimatum and stick to it. Its either your peace of mind or theirs. Business partners not roommates.

Respect is the missing link here. You and your hubby have to set up CLEAR boundaries concerning each other, then your goals together. (This is essential-discuss) Do you really need a business partner? Define what skills and traits you need from this partner? Find and fix the person to the job. Define limits before you shake hands on the deal. Define penalties for crossing the line. Obviously your husband is willing to do more for a "business" partner than you are.

Don't be afraid to move on...
Pick a date. Give a hand written notice to inform them that this situation is interfering with the friendship, the date you want them to leave, and keep a copy for yourself. Don't inform them your changing the locks the very next day, just do it. This lets them know you mean business. On the date, rise up early in the morning and have a police escort there for BOTH parties safety. A restraining order won't hurt. You'll get new friends.
