Can creditor contact me after deleted from Credit Report?

After numerous letters to Credit Bureaus, all 3 deleted a derogatory item from My Credit report. But, I still continue to receive collection letters from this creditor. They took me to court almost 2 years ago and their lawyer voluntarily dismissed (without prejudice) the claim against me. Is it true that I can now sue them since I’m still getting collection letters?

Only 10% of deleted items report back to Credit Bureau's. The creditor must notify you of this first before reporting it with the major credit bureau's: Experian, TransUnion and Equifax. Whatever you do, do NOT sign for anything from them. If you sign from them, you are admitting it's yours/claiming it.
