Card Cheap Credit
I might buy a cheap plane ticket to China using a Credit Card?
Would this be a good or bad idea? Do people do this often? I will try to work in China, but I'm wondering if even though My Credit card is really low-interest, will I be completely screwed if say I'm late on a few of the monthly payments?
I will not use the credit card for the Visa, I have friends I will live with rent free until I find work, they will help me with food costs too. I will use this credit card for the plane ticket.
Your Credit Rating will be shot, they could cancel your card, and you could end up with a 29% interest rate. You cannot work in China without a work Visa, you cannot get a work Visa while you are IN China. If you cant speak and write mandarin you wont be able to find a job anywhere. In order to teach english most schools require a degree, most require a teaching degree as well, and you wont find anything (in low paying not very good school ) without at the very least an ESL, TESL or TEFL certification.
All in all its not a good idea. You have to pay for a plane ticket, a Visa, a place to stay, food, etc
How do you know you will even be accepted to come to China without a sponsor or a financial bond of some kind ?
